York Rite Gold Honour Award Presentations 2018-06
On Saturday June 2nd the York Rite College of North America made Gold Honour Award Presentations to Bro. Clair Bracken of Sudbury and Bro. Jim Brien of North Bay. A luncheon was held with over 50 Masons and friends in attendance.
THE GOLD HONOUR AWARD:
The York Rite College of North America created and designed a Gold Honour Award which is given for unselfish and outstanding service in any branch of the York Rite of Freemasonry. The recipient need not necessarily be a member of a York Rite College, nor is it essential that he be a member of all the other York Rite Bodies.
Nominations for this coveted award may be made by a member of a Symbolic Lodge, a Royal Arch Chapter, a Cryptic Council, a Preceptory of Knights Templar, or a York Rite College.
The citation issued with the York Rite Gold Honour Award reads as follows:
"This Gold Honor Award has been presented in recognition of outstanding service in York Rite Masonry by the York Rite Sovereign College of North America, which is composed of members of the Blue Lodge, Royal Arch Chapters, Council and Preceptory."
The Gold Honour Award may be granted to any Mason for rendering faithful and outstanding service in any branch of Freemasonry. A recipient need not be a member of a York Rite College, nor is it required that he be a member of any of the York Rite bodies.
Thank you to Bro. Clive Stephenson for submitting the pictures, program, and information
