Nickel Christmas Party 2019

Bro. Chris Carr submitted pictures of Nickel Lodge No. 427's Christmas party that was held Friday, November 22nd at the Hourglass Restaurant. The Christmas Trivia trivia and poinsettias were a hit. Door prizes were won by Jessica Carr, Joan Miszczack, and Nancy Daigle. The singer was Duncan Cameron.

Veterans' Appreciation Night 2019

Though the tradition of holding a Veterans' Appreciation Night began 11 years ago, due to last year's unfortunate cancellation, 2019's was the tenth in the series. Below are pictures that cannot fully describe how moving the ceremony was.

Nickel Raising Bro. Edgar 2019-11

November 6th was a busy night for Nickel Lodge No. 427. They started with a ceremony to celebrate 25 years of service by R.W. Brother Clive Stephenson with R.W. Bro. Paavo Liukko's assistance.

Also, Bro. Michael Edgar was raised to the third degree.

These events were observed by our visitors from near and afar: W. Bro. Paul Brais, W.M. of Kitimat Lodge No. 169 in B.C., W. Bro. Robert Tailleur of Bethel Lodge No. 699, and Bro. Matthew Daoust of City of Lakes Lodge No. 536 and Dundrum Lodge No. 488 in Ireland
